2008 Roy Hobbs World Series Okaloosa county will send a local Men's Baseball team to compete in the 2008 Roy Hobbs World Series in Ft Myers, Florida. The team will compete in the open (28+) division. General information: Tournament dates are October 25 thru November 1. Mandatory player registration at the Lee County Stadium on Sat, Oct 25. Overall play begins Sun, Oct 26. All players must complete this registration waiver form and have it to the team manager by Sep 25. Teams allowed 3 players ages 25-27; playing restrictions apply to games 5 through playoffs. Pitching restrictions in the Open Division are unchanged - there are no restrictions during the first 4 games, after which under-age players must be competing in the AAAA Division in order to pitch. Under-age players must reach the minimum age (25) no later than November 1. |
